Feed the Good Wolf
There’s an old Cherokee story that’s been shared through the ages—one that speaks straight to the soul.

“A fight is going on inside me. A terrible fight between two wolves. One is evil—filled with anger, sorrow, regret, greed, self-pity, and false pride. The other is good—filled with joy, peace, love, humility, kindness, and faith.”
“This same fight is happening inside you, too… and inside everyone else walking this earth.”
The boy asks, “Grandfather, which wolf will win?”
The old man smiles and says, “The one you feed.”
Let that settle in your spirit.
Because the truth is—we all carry both wolves inside. Some days, we feed the one that’s loud and restless. The one that thrives off fear, doubt, and drama. Other days, we give our energy to the quiet one—the one that leads with love, understanding, and grace.
Feeding the good wolf isn’t about ignoring pain or pretending to be okay when you’re not. It’s about choosing, moment by moment, to pour into what heals you. What grows you. What keeps your peace intact.
So today, ask yourself:
Which wolf am I feeding?
And if it’s the wrong one, baby, don’t beat yourself up. Just choose differently the next time. The power has always been in your hands.
Choose love.
Choose light.
Feed the good wolf.
