My Favorite Season
What is your favorite season of year? Why?
There’s something sacred about the way the earth shifts into its new rhythm each season. But one season in particular always feels like home to my spirit. It’s when the light hits just right, when the air carries memories, and when I feel most aligned with myself and the world around me.
My favorite season doesn’t just show up on the calendar—it arrives in my bones. It nudges me to slow down, to breathe a little deeper, to notice things I might have missed when I was rushing around in life’s chaos. It’s in the way the colors change, the smells linger, and the sounds soften or grow bold. Everything in me responds.
There’s a nostalgia to it—like hearing your favorite old song and remembering where you were the first time you heard it. This season brings with it a flood of feelings: peace, inspiration, gratitude, and a quiet joy that doesn’t need to announce itself. It just is.
I find myself waking up a little more eager during this time, sipping my tea a little slower, and finding beauty in places I normally walk right past. It’s the time I dream the biggest and love the hardest. The time I reflect and renew.
Some people chase the sun. Others wait for snow. Me? I just wait for that moment when the world feels like it’s dancing to the same tune as my heart.
That’s the magic of your favorite season—it teaches you something new about yourself every time it rolls around.
